To  understand and meet the healthcare needs of the medically underserved members of the Hispanic community through education, community service, and research.

Amigos Medicos Profile

Amigos Médicos members are Wayne State University School of medicine students and faculty.    

We are associated with the National Hispanic Medical Association and present our research at their annual conference.

Amigos Médicos provides education opportunities at the School of Medicine and abroad to train future healthcare providers in language, clinical, and cultural competency skills.
